Amy Smart has been a model, actress and a former American. Her modelling career began in Italy in Italy, where she was raised and born in California. She began her acting career in 1996, when she appeared in The TV film Her Costly Affair. Following a long and difficult battle her way to a role, she got a chance in the 'Starship Troopers' series starring in Starship Troopers. It was a hard time when she had to change from modelling to acting as models were not believed to be actors and were mostly assigned smaller roles that were insignificant. However, Amy was determined to keep going and transitioned to more prestigious roles. It all started with the series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. She then ventured into the leading roles with the 2005s romantic comedy film Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy received the recognition she'd been seeking for over a decade. There were several major films in the Crank trilogy alongside Jason Statham. And she had a part in a series of recurring roles in Shameless. Shameless series.
